Cloghroe N.S. celebrates Science Week 2016
- On Wednesday 16th November 2016, Cloghroe hosted a spectacular 3D tour of our Solar System with Space Sector Advisor Robert Hill, combining images from the Hubble European Space Agency Information Centre with the largest 3D screen of its kind in Ireland. Rob allowed us to visit the International Space Station as it whizzed around planet Earth, then we travelled back in time to witness the Sun burst into life, and took a virtual flight over the surface of the Red Planet. We glimpsed our place in the cosmos and tried to answer the question "How big is big?"
