Musician John Spillane visits Cloghroe

​The pupils of Cloghroe school were entertained by musician composer and singer John Spillane on Monday March27th . John sang Irish songs with the children from his album,”Irish Songs We learned in School”. Old favourites such as “Trasna na dTonnta”,Beidh Aonach Amárach” and Mo Ghile Mear were among the repertoire. Fourth class accompanied the “Rathlin Bog” on the tin whistle. A great morning of singing was enjoyed by all.
