Christmas Charity Fundraisers
Once more this year ,our 3rd class children will be spreading the Christmas cheer with their very own yuletide art work. The
pupils designed their own Christmas cards which have been
professionally printed. Christmas card sales went to the ‘Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal’. The children enjoyed participating in this worthy cause that provides less fortunate children all over the world with needed gifts this Christmas time.
1st, 2nd and 6th class pupils participated in a Christmas themed fun day. Pupils raised over €430 for Cork Simon. Maith sibh!
On Tuesday December 9th, 4th class performed a variety of Christmas carols and songs in O’ Leary’s Centra in Tower. The children put a lot of time and effort into practising these songs and they sang beautifully on the night. They raised a sum of €250 for St.Vincent de Paul. The cheque was presented to Mr. Jim Donovan, secretary of the local branch of St. Vincent de Paul and also treasurer of our Board of Management.
