Sixth Class enjoy Basketball in Neptune

​Forty children from sixth class travelled to Neptune Stadium in Blackpool on February 8th to represent Cloghroe NS in a mixed basketball Primary School competition.  The boys and girls showed great interest and dedication over the past few months training in Halla Uí Chonaill with Mr.Whitty and Mr.Kelly.  The joint Basketball Ireland and Cork Sports Partnership initiative proved a great success as children got the opportunity to play in the famous Cork venue in a blitz format.  Each team played at least 3 games in a fun and sporting environment.  Well done to all.
